ADOPTED: Kitty needs to be Adopted

Hi! My name is Kitty. I was hit by a car and Popish Veternary Clinic fixed my broken leg. While recuperating I showed them just how darn cute and loveable I am. Oh yead did I mention I'm smart, funny and have a great personality? (My leg is healing well but I would need to be an inside cat.)

Adopted!!!

Chelsea was just ADOPTED!!!! She is going home with a very nice couple and a new friend! "Colter" is an 8 yr old Eng. Springer Spaniel who lost his last companion in July 2010 and him and his family were finally ready to fill the void!!! YIPPEEE for Chelsea!

Metro Pet Sponsorship Program

I am in AWE of how great this program works!! Now if we just had enough money to do them all! Chelsea got taken care of today and she'll go on tv with us Friday! We need sponsors!! Partial sponsors! LOL I'm so happy for her....in a cage since Nov. 17th and she's in a home now!

MUFFIN GOT ADOPTED AN HOUR AGO!!! I don't have details but it's an older lady! I'll post more when I talk to Rick tomorrow! YAY!!!!

This is Chelsea (Auntie Cheryl named her!) I think she's feeling better after suspending the antibiotics earlier today. She's our next sponsor dog, to be spayed and vaccinated Tuesday and on the News 13 noon show on Friday the 25th. SHE IS A DOLL!! What a sweet girl. I'd say no older than 2 yrs old by looking at her teeth. PLEASE DONT FORGET ABOUT MUFFIN THE CAT!!!

And there is no shortage of animals that need our help--but we need DONATIONS to fund this program! We have enough money to do one last dog, which will appear on tv on the 25th. She's a little Aussie shepherd mix. We need corporate sponsors--we WILL plug you on the tv appearance with the pet. Max Update

I just talked to Max's new dad and they are mutually in love!! He is with the National Pony Express and wants us to make up a sign to put on his trailer to advertise Paws2Help.  They go through 8 states and he wants to help us get our name out there.  He said the sponsorship made all the difference in his decision to adopt Max!  He said Max hasn't let him out of his sight since he got him....=)

Max was adopted today and will be going to his furever home on Thursday.

Raid on Carpenter Rescue Taking Place NOW!

Raid of Carpenter "rescue" going on right now.  Rescuing about 60 dogs, mostly small ones from Litl' Bit of Love Animal Rescue Sanctuary.  Please, God, let them get the cats too...I'm sure as soon as people start showing up the poor kitties will scatter.

New Paws2Help Metro Sponsored Pets

Tomorrow a female orange kitty that has been at Metro since November 17th will become our 3rd sponsored pet.  At the same time, Max, a blue heeler mix, will become the 4th.  We may already have someone interested in Max once he is neutered and vaccinated.  The orange kitty will probably be our "guest" on the KCWY 13 news at noon show on Friday.  Stay tuned!  We'll also have pics of both of the pets up soon!
